Death Weapon Meister Academy
Shinigami's school for weapons and meisters.
Death Weapon Meister Academy, or DWMA, is the school and international organisation at the centre of Soul Eater, founded and run by Shinigami. Its headquarters stand in the fictional Death City in Nevada.
Lore & Background
It trains young weapons and meisters and works to keep world order against witches, monsters and kishin, humans who become monsters by devouring innocent souls. Its students act as field agents, reaping the souls of evil humans before they can become kishin. Asura was sealed beneath its building. The spin-off Soul Eater Not! adds the NOT class for students who only want to control their powers.
