Meisters are the people in Soul Eater who wield demon weapons, humans born with the power to turn into weapons.

Most characters of the series fall into one of these two groups. DWMA trains meisters and weapons together. The main series follows three meister and weapon teams: Maka Albarn with Soul Eater, Black Star with Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with Liz and Patty Thompson.
