2056 virtual impactor
JPL Horizons suggests the closest approach in 2056 will be 1.2 AU on 4 August 2056, while NEODyS expects 3.1 AU on 2 October 2056. The Sentry Risk Table estimates a 1 in 5.3 million chance of impact on 12 December 2056, with a nominal Earth distance of 3 AU (JPL Horizons) or 3.6 AU (NEODyS). Potential impacts are also listed for 2086, 2102, and 2113.
