Gameplay
Quick Race allows the player to set up a random race with random settings. Events offers Time Attack, Single Grand Prix (which must be unlocked), and Scenario Mode, a list of scenarios needed to unlock extras. World Championship lets the player play the full 2005 FIA Formula One World Championship. Multiplayer supports Wi-Fi gaming for 2 to 8 players. TV Mode Race lets the player watch a single race as if on television. The game includes the initial driver lineups for the 2005 season; substitute drivers Pedro de la Rosa, Anthony Davidson, Alexander Wurz, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Ricardo Zonta, Antônio Pizzonia, and Robert Doornbos, though all raced in FIA Formula One races that year, are absent. All circuits from the 2005 championship appear, plus 19 unlockable mirror tracks. Five unlockable Classic Cars are present. An invisible car becomes available after driving off the course in the German Grand Prix. The three missing grids were created unofficially and were downloadable from "The PSP Vault."
