Game modes
The main single-player mode lets the player create one male and one female character to compete in tournaments and become the world number one. Between tournaments, skill levels can be raised through quick minigames such as Blocker, Balloon Smash, Fruit Dash and Blockbuster. Quick Match automatically selects players and court for an immediate match. In Tournament mode, the player selects a player and attempts to win six matches; a retry option allows repeated attempts. Exhibition mode lets the player choose a player, opponent and court. Using the PSP's Wi-Fi, up to four players can compete in a tennis match.
