Plot
The Pevensie siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—are evacuated from London during World War II air raids. At their temporary home, Lucy discovers a wardrobe that serves as a portal to the magical land of Narnia. The children become involved in a war against the White Witch and help restore the rightful ruler, the lion Aslan. They reign as kings and queens for many years before returning to their own world through the wardrobe.
Later, the four are pulled back into Narnia from a train station to aid Prince Caspian in overthrowing his evil uncle, King Miraz. Edmund and Lucy later visit their cousin Eustace Scrubb; all three are drawn into a painting of Caspian's ship, the Dawn Treader. Caspian, now a young man, is on a quest to find seven lords who were friends of his late father, sailing through dangerous waters and encountering strange islands. Eustace and his schoolmate Jill Pole, fleeing bullies, pass through a doorway into Aslan's country.
Eustace falls off a cliff and is blown to Narnia. Jill meets Aslan, who tells her to memorize four signs that will lead her and Eustace to the lost Prince Rilian, son of King Caspian. They follow the signs, rescue Rilian, and return to Narnia shortly before the elderly Caspian dies.
