The Reds (Red Line)
The Stalinist state of the Sokolnicheskaya Line.
The Reds, properly the Red Line, are a one-party socialist state in the post-apocalyptic Moscow Metro, based on the Sokolnicheskaya Line, which is always shown in red on pre-war maps and on which most of its stations lie. With the Metro's largest population, estimated at 15,000, a capacity for mass conscription and a number of stations surpassed only by Hansa, the Red Line is one of the most powerful factions, and unlike Hansa's political ambivalence it pursues violent expansion: a permanent war with the smaller but better-armed fascist Fourth Reich, crimes against non-aligned stations, and conflict with the Rangers over the D6 installation.
It is ruled by the Communist Party of the Moscow Underground and its General Secretary, Maxim Moskvin, along Marxist-Leninist and neo-Stalinist lines, with repression and indoctrination part of daily life. By 2039 it has been absorbed by the Novoreich.
