Migrant Fleet

The Migrant Fleet, also known as the Flotilla, is the massive collection of starships in Mass Effect that became home to the quarians after the geth drove them from their homeworld. Roughly fifty thousand ships carry some seventeen million quarians, the largest array of spacefaring vessels in the known galaxy; some date from the original flight from the geth three centuries ago, and the fleet is so large it can take days to pass through a mass relay. It is broken up into clans, conditions aboard are extremely cramped, and it is rarely welcoming to outsiders, while quarians rarely leave it except on Pilgrimage.
