Background
Psylocke is a codename used by two linked mutant characters in the X-Men comics. The best known is Betsy Braddock, a British telepath created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe, first seen in 1976 as a supporting character for her twin brother Brian. She took the name Psylocke when she joined the X-Men in 1986, and a 1993 story revealed that her later look came from a body swap with the ninja assassin Kwannon. Sai is Peach Momoko's take on the character, first seen in the 2021 Demon Days series.
