Lore & Background
The club was founded on 9 March 1908 as Football Club Internazionale, when a group of players left the Milan Cricket and Football Club (now AC Milan) to form a new club because they wanted to accept more foreign players.
In Their Own Story
The rain lashed against Anfield's concrete stands, turning the pitch into a slick battleground where every pass was a gamble. Inside the tunnel, Facchetti adjusted his captain's armband, his eyes fixed on the Liverpool players emerging from the shadows of the dressing room. The roar of the Kop was a physical force, shaking the very walls, but inside Inter's huddle, there was only silence and the cold calculation of Herrera. As they stepped onto the grass, the Italian defense formed their familiar wall, a fortress ready to absorb the storm. The whistle blew, and for ninety minutes, two giants circled each other in a deadly dance of tactics where the only goal was survival.
