Isaac Netero
Chairman of the Hunter Association and Grand Master of Shingen-Ryu kung fu.
Isaac Netero chairs the Selection Committee for the Hunter Exam and has final say over every stage of it, helped by his secretary Beans, who also hands successful candidates their licenses. Netero claims he was the strongest Nen user in the world more than 50 years ago, and he is Grand Master of the Shingen-Ryu style of kung fu.
Lore & Background
More than 60 years ago, Netero trained every day for four years to show his gratitude to the martial arts. He reached enlightenment, which gave him punches faster than the speed of sound and the power of the bodhisattva Guanyin. He is the father of Beyond Netero, whose existence was kept secret until Netero's death.
Netero leads the team hired to exterminate the Chimera Ants. After losing an arm and a leg without doing real damage to Meruem, he kills himself by detonating the Poor Man's Rose, a bomb implanted in his own body. Survivors of the blast are eaten from the inside by its poison and can contaminate others.
