Alpha Legion

The 20th and last Legion, ruled by twin Primarchs.

The Alpha Legion is the 20th and last of the Space Marine Legions. Characterised in earlier publications as clandestine and inscrutable, it is the focus of the novel Legion, which reveals that its Primarch is actually a pair of twins, Alpharius and Omegon, publicly a single figure named Alpharius Omegon.

Lore & Background

Legion takes place about two years before the Heresy and describes the events that lead the twins to support Horus. Through the series the Legion creates artificial warp storms that cut the Chondax system off, attacks the Space Wolves at Alaxxes, pursues objectives opposed to the Raven Guard, and becomes the first force to attack the Solar System since the war began, showing many of the Imperial Fists' defences to be inadequate.
