Iron Warriors

Perturabo's 4th Legion, the siege masters of the Great Crusade.

The Iron Warriors are the 4th Legion of Space Marines, renowned as the siege masters of the Great Crusade, led by their Primarch Perturabo. Embittered by the ignominious and unheralded role the Imperium assigned them, they align with Horus.

Lore & Background

After escaping the Eye of Terror, Perturabo and the Iron Warriors lay waste to the world of Tallarn, reducing it to a wasteland while the largest armoured conflict of the Heresy is fought on its surface. Later, with the battle for Terra joined, the traitors under Perturabo's command look for ways to breach the outer wall of the Imperial Palace.
