Background

The Emperor named him Praetorian of Terra and kept him close, far from Horus. Dorn oversaw the defences of the Imperial Palace that were tested in the Siege of Terra, and it was he who found the Emperor's broken body on Horus's flagship, the Vengeful Spirit, after their final duel and placed Him on the Golden Throne.
