Leman Russ
Primarch of the Space Wolves, sent by the Emperor against Prospero.
Leman Russ is the Primarch of the 6th Legion, the Space Wolves. When Magnus learns through sorcery of Horus's coming betrayal, the enraged Emperor orders Russ to Prospero, the Thousand Sons' home world, to bring Magnus and his Legion to Terra to account for themselves.
Lore & Background
Prospero Burns tells the Space Wolves' side through Kasper Hawser, a Terran academic who becomes the skjald of the Legion's 3rd Company; its understory is the long-term scheme of Chaos to destroy both the Space Wolves and the Thousand Sons. Later reports claim that Russ has turned traitor and killed Magnus on Prospero, and the Space Wolves come under attack from the Alpha Legion.
