Horus Heresy Codexery

Imperial Army

The Imperium's regular human soldiers, fighting beside the Space Marine Legions.

The Imperial Army is the regular, unmodified human fighting force of the Imperium in The Horus Heresy. When the Heresy breaks out, the split between Loyalists and Traitors runs through the Army as well as through the Space Marine Legions, and several books of the series follow its officers and their units.
