Harvest
The colony where the Covenant first met humanity, and the opening battlefield of Halo Wars.
Harvest is the human colony world where the Covenant, searching for Forerunner relics, first stumble across humans, as told in Joseph Staten's novel Halo: Contact Harvest. Years after the Covenant invaded the colony, in Halo Wars, UNSC forces are still fighting on the planet.
Lore & Background
In Halo Wars the ship Spirit of Fire is sent to the ruined planet to investigate Covenant activity; Captain Cutter learns the Covenant has excavated something at Harvest's northern pole, and orders Sergeant Forge to retake the UNSC's captured main outpost.
