Forerunner shield worlds in the Halo story: Requiem.

Shield worlds are Forerunner installations in the Halo universe. In the Forerunner backstory the Didact disagreed with the plan to build the Halo Array against the Flood and instead proposed a system of shield worlds, which was rejected.

Lore & Background

In Halo 4 the Forward Unto Dawn drifts to an unknown Forerunner planet revealed to be the shield world Requiem. In Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, Fred and Blue Team end up within a Forerunner shield world on Onyx, where Jul 'Mdama is later imprisoned, and 343 Guilty Spark finds Bastion, a Forerunner shield world and the Librarian's secret laboratory.
