The Casino Royale heroine who gave her name to Bond's cocktail.
Vesper Lynd is a character in Ian Fleming's 1953 James Bond novel Casino Royale. Eva Green played her in the 2006 film and Ursula Andress in the 1967 parody.

In the novel she says she was born on a very stormy evening and named Vesper, Latin for evening; Bond then gives her name to a cocktail he has just invented. The Vesper became a popular drink after the book came out, and its name and full recipe were first spoken on screen in the 2006 Casino Royale.
