In 1986, General Arkady Ourumov shoots 00-agent Alec Trevelyan during a mission at a secret chemical weapons facility in Arkhangelsk, Soviet Union. In 1993, Ourumov ambushes James Bond with a squad of Russian troops after Bond investigates a missile test in Kyrgyzstan. In 1995, Ourumov orders the destruction of the Severnaya bunker via the GoldenEye satellite's EMP, and later recaptures Natalya Simonova in Saint Petersburg.
