In 1986, General Arkady Ourumov shoots fellow 00-agent Alec Trevelyan during a mission at the Byelomorye Dam in Arkhangelsk. In 1993, Ourumov ambushes James Bond as Bond leaves a missile silo in Kazakhstan, but Ourumov escapes. Later, Ourumov orders the destruction of the Severnaya bunker via the GoldenEye satellite's EMP. Bond eventually learns that Trevelyan's execution by Ourumov was faked.

In Their Own Story

In 1986, General Ourumov shoots Alec Trevelyan at the Byelomorye Dam in Arkhangelsk, an execution that is later revealed to have been faked. In 1993, Ourumov ambushes Bond at a missile silo in Kyrgyzstan but escapes. In 1995, he orders the destruction of the Severnaya bunker via the GoldenEye satellite's EMP, moments after Bond and Natalya Simonova escape. Bond later gives chase through Saint Petersburg, eventually boarding Trevelyan's ex-Soviet missile train, where he kills Ourumov and rescues Natalya.
