Gameplay
In The Tower SP, the highest tower rating, "Tower" status, is obtained with a population of 2,000 people, a difficult goal given the height limit of 50 floors (35 floors for the commercial tower) and a limited foundation width. The width expands as Yama grants deregulation for surrounding roads and buildings. Reaching 2,000 people is not sufficient; a wedding must occur in the building, which requires a cathedral constructed at maximum height, reachable without stress, full, and with 2,000 people present. Achieving "Tower" status with the Office Building unlocks the Commercial Building mode. This mode permits a higher lobby but disallows offices, condominiums, medical centers, security offices, and recycling centers. It allows up to three cinemas (the Office Building allowed one), a spa with hot spring water, and hotel suites once the appropriate star rating is reached. Buildings in this mode may resemble a mall-hotel hybrid. Features from Yoot Tower include restrooms that must be built, nightly security checks, weekly housekeeping for offices, and cockroach infestation in three phases: one requiring a bug bomb, two requiring a costly exterminator, and three condemning the infested facility. Different shops and stores are used to satisfy tenants and visitors.
