Plot

Peter Parker's wife, Mary Jane Watson, asks him to pick up a new fishbowl for their pet fish. A news report interrupts, prompting Peter to become Spider-Man and look into a series of crimes happening that same night. He battles Rhino, Hammerhead, Big Wheel, Electro, and Scorpion, all working for Mysterio. After defeating the other villains, Spider-Man stops Mysterio, who flees but abandons his helmet. Peter takes the helmet home and gives it to Mary Jane to use as a fishbowl.

Gameplay

The player can start with one of three stages, each unlocking another level and ending with a comic-style cutscene. Seven stages total, each capped by a boss fight: Hammerhead (twice), Big Wheel, Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, and finally Mysterio. Players swing freely, use punches and kicks, and shoot webs to trap or attack enemies while dodging hazards like razors and fire. Upgrades boost strength, health, and webbing, and special suits offer protection. The Symbiote Suit, the last upgrade found in the final level, slowly restores health and web fluid.
