Background
Himmel was laid-back and friendly and became a hero to protect people, and his kindness shaped his companions long after he was gone. He was also vain, calling himself handsome and happily agreeing to have statues made of him, then making their work hard by constantly changing his pose. As a boy he received a replica of the Sword of the Hero after saving a peddler near his hometown; he could not draw the real sword from its rock near the Village of the Sword, but people came to believe his blade was the real one. He kept a diary of the journey that was lost and later found by Frieren's party in a monastery on an island in Lake Korridor. After the party disbanded he lived in the Royal Capital until his death at about 76.
