The arena where a young monkey-tailed boy first challenged the world's strongest masters.
It was here that Son Goku, the tail-wearing boy from the mountains, stepped onto the world stage to challenge masters he had only heard of in legends. After finishing their training under Master Roshi, Goku and Krillin compete in this tournament, which Yamcha also enters.

The final bout between Goku and Jackie Chun continued as the sun began to go down. Jackie Chun won the final, and Goku finished as runner-up of the 21st tournament. Jackie Chun was really Master Roshi in disguise, entering to prevent his students from becoming arrogant with too many victories.
