Tuffle

The people of Planet Plant, exterminated by the Saiyans and avenged by Baby.

The Tuffles stand as the tragic counterpoint to the Saiyans: the people of Planet Plant, who lost a ten-year war against the Saiyans led by King Vegeta. Though exterminated, their legacy survives in Dragon Ball GT through Baby, an artificial Tuffle parasite who seeks revenge on the Saiyan race.

Reader's Guide

The Tuffles serve as the tragic foil to the Saiyans, embodying the clash between civilization and savagery. Originally the people of Planet Plant, they were exterminated by the Saiyans after a ten-year war. After the war the planet was renamed Planet Vegeta in honor of King Vegeta. The Tuffle antagonist of Dragon Ball GT is Baby, an artificial Tuffle parasite created by Dr. Myuu.
