Evrart Claire
Boss of the Martinaise Dockworkers' Union.
Evrart Claire is the leader of the Dockworkers' Union in Martinaise and the twin brother of Edgar Claire. Harry Du Bois and Kim Kitsuragi interview him early in the hanged man case, which turns out to be bound up with the union's strike against the Wild Pines Group.
Background
The Claire twins rose to control of the union in the '30s and have held it since by trading places after each election to dodge term limits. Though seen as corrupt, they are popular with union members and credited with keeping organised crime out and building up the district while the Coalition and the RCM ignored it; their critics, however, tend to be silenced.
