The Hardie Boys
Titus Hardie's dockworker vigilantes.
The Hardie Boys are a group of dockworker vigilantes, the armed wing of the Dockworkers' Union led by Titus Hardie, who act as the de facto peacekeepers of Martinaise. They formed in the early '40s under another name because crime flourished while RCM Precincts 41 and 57 argued over which of them should police the district.
Background
Members include Titus, Theo, Alain, Fat Angus, Eugene, Glen and Shanky. They claim responsibility for the hanged man, saying Lely tried to rape Klaasje, but it emerges that they helped Ruby stage the hanging; later they face the rogue mercenaries in a firefight at the hostel in which some or all on either side may die.
