The Antecentennial Revolution
The world revolution that made and unmade the Commune of Revachol.
The Antecentennial Revolution, also called the Turn-of-the-Century Revolution or the World Revolution, is the series of wars in Disco Elysium's history between the communards and the Moralintern and royalty. It began in Graad in '02, ended there in '08 and in Revachol in '10, and cost some 40 million lives.
Background
Kras Mazov, the founder of scientific communism, led the Graadian side and is said to have taken his own life during the final siege of the Graadian capital. In Revachol the revolution overthrew the Suzerainty and created the Commune, which fell to the Coalition; by the end Coalition forces had wiped out nearly all communists and anarchists.
