Lore & Background

In that arc the party splits into two groups that try to prove their worth to the Slayer's Take, a local adventurers' guild whose patron is the sphinx Osysa, by taking on dangerous missions. The city holds temples of Sarenrae and of the Raven Queen, and a brawling arena called the Crucible, where Grog loses a fight and later wins a rematch.

Reader's Guide

Vox Machina returns to Vasselheim in the Cult of Vecna arc, when a large group of important leaders gathers there and an undead earth titan carrying part of Thar Amphala makes its way toward the city. When Keyleth banishes Vecna, Vasselheim and the rest of Exandria are saved.
