In Their Own Story
The heavy steel door groaned under the force of the breaching charge. Dust billowed into the hallway as Operator Kael stepped through, weapon raised high. Behind him, his squad moved in tight formation, checking corners for movement. In the dimly lit office beyond, three hostages huddled near a server rack, eyes wide with fear. A single muzzle flash erupted from the shadows of the kitchen doorway. The exchange was instantaneous—silence returned to the lobby as the CTs secured the perimeter.
Reader's Guide
In cs_office, the Counter-Terrorist team's goal is to locate hostages (non-player characters) near the Terrorist spawn point, collect them, and bring them to a rescue zone. The Terrorists win if the round ends due to time running out or if all Counter-Terrorists are eliminated. Either team can also win by eliminating all members of the opposing team. Players start with $800, a knife, and a handgun (USP for Counter-Terrorists, Glock 18c for Terrorists), and can purchase weapons and equipment in buy zones. Killed players become spectators until the round ends.
