Sayoko Shinozaki

Sayoko Shinozaki is a kind Japanese woman who works as maid to Lelouch and Nunnally. She was first Milly Ashford's maid and was reassigned when the siblings came into the Ashfords' care.

Lore & Background
Behind her gentle look she is the 37th successor of the Shinozaki school of martial arts, carrying smoke bombs and kunai. In the second season Lelouch tells her his secret and she stands in as his double at Ashford, playing him as a womaniser. During the second battle of Tokyo she and Rolo go to secure Nunnally; she escapes the F.L.E.I.J.A. blast with Nunnally, is taken to Schneizel, escapes wounded and warns Lelouch of Schneizel's plan. When the Black Knights board the Avalon she frees the U.F.N. hostages on Lelouch's orders, and after imprisonment she is released following the Zero Requiem.
