Kaname Ohgi
The resistance leader who becomes the Black Knights' deputy commander.
Kaname Ohgi leads the resistance cell that Kallen belongs to, having left his job as a teacher to take over after the death of her brother Naoto. He is reserved and doubts his own leadership but is perceptive, guessing some of what Zero hides. When Zero reorganises the Black Knights he makes Ohgi deputy commander.

Ohgi and Villetta
After the Japan Liberation Front is nearly wiped out he finds Villetta Nu, left for dead at a dock, and nurses her. She has lost her memory, and although he knows she has seen Zero's face he cannot bring himself to kill her, and falls in love with her. During the Black Rebellion she regains her memory and shoots him. Captured in the rebellion, he still believes only Zero can free Japan.
