Clovis la Britannia
The Third Prince and first Viceroy of Area 11, Lelouch's first target.
Clovis la Britannia is the Third Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the Viceroy of Area 11 when the story begins. Timid, vain and not used to failure, he played chess against Lelouch as a child, always lost, and still saw his half-brother as a friendly rival.

Story
Clovis was involved in the research on C.C. and feared being disowned if it came out. When Japanese resistance fighters steal her capsule, thinking it holds poison gas, he orders the Shinjuku ghetto wiped out to hide the project. Newly armed with Geass, Lelouch takes command of the resistance, defeats Clovis's forces, questions him about their mother's death and kills him.
