Background
Bold, outspoken and athletic, Kyou is known for throwing books at anyone who annoys her, Tomoya and Sunohara most of all. She rides a scooter to school although motor vehicles are banned, and lets her pet boar, Botan, roam the grounds. The girls at school call her 'Kyou-sama'. She is a fine cook, pork cutlet being her best dish, and fiercely protective of her shy sister. In the anime she tries to bring Tomoya and Ryou together while hiding her own feelings for him; when she realises he loves Nagisa, the twins break down and apologise to each other. In the OVA 'Another World: Kyou Chapter' Tomoya ends up with Kyou, and she cuts her hair over hurting Ryou. Her theme is 'That's Like the Wind'.
