Shino Okazaki
Tomoya's grandmother, who tells him his father's story.
Shino Okazaki is Tomoya Okazaki's grandmother and the mother of Naoyuki Okazaki. She appears only in the After Story arc of the anime and visual novel. Tomoya does not remember her, as he last saw her when he was five.

Background
Tomoya meets her at the edge of a cape while Ushio searches a flower field for her lost robot, a meeting Sanae Furukawa had quietly arranged. Shino tells him how hard Naoyuki struggled to raise him after Atsuko's death. Facing the same situation with Ushio, Tomoya finally understands his father, forgives him, and resolves to be a good parent. Naoyuki later goes back to his hometown to live with Shino, and in the true ending Tomoya, Nagisa and Ushio are seen visiting her.
