Tomoya's late mother, whose death shaped the Okazaki family.
Atsuko Okazaki was the wife of Naoyuki Okazaki and the mother of Tomoya Okazaki. She was in a car accident when Tomoya was only a child and died in hospital despite the doctors' efforts, leaving Naoyuki to raise their son alone.
