Characters
Alice, portrayed by Elisabeth Harnois, is the protagonist of the series. She is an average preteen who often faces problems at school, with her younger brother Brian, older sister Kathy, friends Kim, Lisa, and Jennifer, or other issues. Alice confides in her cat Dinah about her day and possesses the ability to pass into Wonderland by walking through her mirror. Once there, she helps her friends solve their problems, which in turn offers solutions to her own back home. The Red Queen, played by Armelia McQueen, is the ruler of Wonderland, combining the Queen of Hearts from Carroll's original book and the Red Queen from Through the Looking-Glass. She is strict but fair, often citing her mother and grandmother's example, though her selfish attitude occasionally causes trouble. The Queen expects to get whatever she wants immediately and pouts when things go wrong, often saying 'Oh, harumph!' She usually ends up eating crow by the episode's end but sometimes offers solutions to other residents' problems. Deep down, she cares for her subjects, especially the White Rabbit, and throws parties for them. Unlike other adaptations, she is more a protagonist than an antagonist. Keeira Lyn Ford portrayed the Little Red Queen. The White Rabbit, portrayed by Patrick Richwood, serves as the queen's chief lackey, acting as her personal chef, servant, butler, event planner, and shopping assistant. He wears inline skates to get around, occasionally losing control with humorous results. Exceptionally timid, he cannot stand up to the Queen when treated unjustly. The White Rabbit is good friends with other Wonderland citizens and often aids their schemes due to his proximity to the Queen. Though he complains at times, he is the Queen's closest confidant and sympathizes with her.
