Characters
Timmy the Tooth, brought to life by Kevin Carlson, serves as the main character in this series. He is a tooth with a love for adventure who shares a home with his toothbrush companion, Brushbrush, and has a habit of breaking into song. Brushbrush, performed by Todd Mattox, acts much like a dog, communicating through whispers and bristling sounds that only Timmy can interpret, and often licks Timmy's face to tickle him. Bubbles Gum, played by Cheryl Blaylock, is a blue-skinned friend who frequently takes charge during their exploits and always addresses Timmy by his full name. Miss Flossie, performed by Dina Fraboni, is a cowgirl-type figure with a blob-like shape who is perpetually cheerful and owns a unicorn-style hobby horse named Waxie. Sidney Cyclops, performed by Bruce Lanoil, is a one-eyed monster and a younger friend of Timmy's who dreams of becoming the top paper boy in the world and considers Timmy his best friend. Annette Bruner Prower, performed by Christine Papelexis, is a yellow-skinned friend who is somewhat scatterbrained but remains loyal; she also goes by the name Full of Jello. Johnny Paste, performed by Allan Trautman, is a large, muscular tube of toothpaste who means well but is not very intelligent. Mr. Wisdom, performed by Phil Baron, is an old wisdom tooth residing on Wisdom Mountain and offers guidance to Timmy and his friends. Sherry, performed by Allan Trautman, is an elderly fairy who works as a fortune teller. Gil, also performed by Allan Trautman, is a grinning green grouper fish. Sunny, performed by Allan Trautman in most episodes and Phil Baron in "Malibu Timmy," is a hot, smiling sun that wears sunglasses. Leggs O'Many, performed by Todd Mattox, is a cool octopus who plays the piano. Nicki and Irene, performed by Christine Papelexis and Dina Fraboni, are two flowers in Timmy's front yard that enjoy the rain and being watered. Emmett, performed by Greg Ballora, is Timmy's mailbox. Thirstin and Windslow, performed by Greg Ballora and Kevin Carlson, are two clouds. Clem, performed by Greg Ballora, and Bunky, performed by Michael Earl, round out the cast.

Leggs O'Many's puppet became a mother octopus in a Mother's Day card. A short excerpt from the show appeared in the 2001 film American Pie 2. Some characters appeared on FOX's Greg the Bunny as different characters. Cavity Goon was used as Cranky the Camera Man, and the Gingivitis Gang appeared as background crew members. In a Season 6 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air titled "Eye, Tooth", Will puts a tooth on his head and calls himself Timmy the Tooth while under laughing gas.
