The 2014 event that ended the Warhammer world.
The End Times is a setting-wide event that Games Workshop introduced in 2014, ending in the destruction of the Warhammer Fantasy world. It was told in a series of five books released in 2014 and 2015, and the possibility of Chaos winning is a central theme of the campaign.
Lore & Background
Warhammer Fantasy Battle stopped being supported afterwards, and its successor, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, is set in the Mortal Realms formed from the remains of the destroyed 'World That Was'. The video game Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide is set during the event, with players fighting the Skaven in the city of Ubersreik.
