Ghyran

The Jade Kingdoms: Alarielle's realm of endless growth, locked in the War of Life with Nurgle.

Ghyran, the Realm of Life, also called the Jade Kingdoms, is the most verdant of the eight Mortal Realms, forever turning through the cycles of nature. Life grows and spreads here with a hunger beyond reason, answering the song of Alarielle the Everqueen, goddess of nature and life, and it is the home realm of the sylvaneth, the intelligent tree-folk. The realm is locked in a conflict between Alarielle and Nurgle known as the War of Life: during the Age of Chaos nearly all of Ghyran fell under Nurgle's control until the Stormcast Eternals arrived and, with Alarielle and her sylvaneth, closed the portal to the Garden of Nurgle at the Battle at the Gates of Dawn. Its notable places include Hammerhal Ghyra, the Ghyran half of the twin city of Hammerhal built around the Stormrift Realmgate, and the swamps of the Greywater Reach.
