The Drukhari, also called the Dark Eldar, are one of the two major branches of the Aeldari, the elf-like race of Warhammer 40,000. They live in a city hidden within the Webway, the network of tunnels only the Aeldari can travel, and they must inflict pain on others to survive.

Lore & Background
The Aeldari once ruled an empire covering much of the galaxy, until a magical cataclysm destroyed it and most of their people. The survivors split into the ascetic Asuryani of the Craftworlds and the Drukhari. On the tabletop the Drukhari resemble Craftworld armies, but they have no psykers and their vehicles tend to be open-topped so that infantry can fire from them.
