Lore & Background
Geralt of Rivia fights a dangerous monster and, shortly afterwards, is arrested, which costs him his two priceless witcher swords. With help from his friend Dandelion he does everything he can to regain them. Meanwhile he has an affair with the sorceress Lytta Neyd, nicknamed Coral, in Kerack, the country where he lost his swords, and is dragged into two dangerous conspiracies: one involving a group of sorcerers and another involving King Belohun and his bitter sons. The epilogue of the book is set years after the Witcher Saga.
