Brokilon
The Last Forest, realm of the dryads and their queen Eithne.
Brokilon, the Last Forest, is the forest of the dryads in The Witcher, ruled by their queen, Eithne. Its heart is Duen Canell. In Sword of Destiny, Geralt goes there to deliver a message to Eithne from King Venzlav.
Lore & Background
The dryads bolster their numbers by taking young girls and brainwashing them into their culture, and the water of Brokilon removes memories of a former life; when Eithne makes Ciri drink it, it does not affect her, and Ciri and Geralt are released at the edge of the forest. After the events at Thanedd Island, Geralt recovers in Brokilon under the care of the dryads. The archer Milva is one of the few non-dryads tolerated in Brokilon, and guides scattered bands of Scoia'tael to refuge there.
Reader's Guide
In the Netflix series, Ciri and Dara encounter the dryad queen Eithne in Brokilon Forest, the wounded Geralt is later taken there by Triss and cared for by the dryads, and the forest becomes a refuge for people fleeing the war between the North and Nilfgaard.
