The Kingdom of Temeria is one of the Northern Kingdoms of The Witcher, ruled by King Foltest. Its capital was the city of Vizima.

Background
In The Last Wish, Lord Ostrit, a magnate from Novigrad, wants to use the striga that Foltest's daughter has become as proof of Foltest's inability to rule. In the Netflix series, Triss Merigold is the court sorceress of Temeria and King Foltest's sorceress advisor. In Time of Contempt, while Aedirn, Rivia and Lyria fall quickly to the Nilfgaardian invaders, Foltest makes a pact with Emhyr and preserves his kingdom.
In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Geralt begins in prison under suspicion of assassinating Foltest, the king of Temeria, and is interrogated by Vernon Roche, the head of the Temerian special forces; later he may have to choose whether to rescue the kidnapped Princess Anais of Temeria. In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Temeria has recently been conquered.
