The Hunters
The Hunters are a group of cannibals from the comic book series, adapted in the fifth season of the television series as the surviving residents of Terminus led by Gareth. They prey on other survivors and eat them.

Lore & Background
In the comic, the Hunters attack Rick's group while it stays at Father Gabriel Stokes' church; one of them, Albert, shoots Glenn in the leg as he carries a mutilated Dale to safety. The arc is collected in volume 11, "Fear the Hunters".
Reader's Guide
In the television series, Gareth and five other Terminus survivors hunt Rick's group, capture Bob Stookey, who has been bitten by a walker, eat his leg and leave him as bait outside the church. In "Four Walls and a Roof", the third episode of the fifth season, Rick's group lures them into the church, where they are trapped and slaughtered.
