Chart performance
After the single's release and a performance on The Voice by Cassadee Pope and the Killers, Here with Me charted on several Billboard listings. It peaked at number 19 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart, number 18 on the Rock Songs chart, and number 13 on the Rock Digital Singles chart. The song also reached number 10 on the Alternative Digital Songs chart and number 88 on the Canadian Hot 100.
Music video
The music video for Here with Me was released on December 14, 2012, directed by Tim Burton, his first music video since directing the Killers' Bones six years earlier. Filmed in Blackpool during a break in the band's UK tour, Burton drew inspiration from the 1935 film Mad Love.
The video features a pale young man (Craig Roberts) who buys a ticket to see a stage performance by a woman (Winona Ryder) at the Horror Crypt in Blackpool. After she leaves, he steals a wax mannequin of her from the lobby and imagines it is real, slow dancing with it on the beach and at an empty performance hall where the Killers play. He prepares a romantic dinner, removes the mannequin's wig, and lights a candlewick on its head, then reveals he is also made of wax by lighting his own head's candlewick; they smile and raise a glass of wine.
