Premise

Mickey and his pals guide viewers through episodes with songs and entertaining sequences, featuring interactive segments that encourage problem solving within a self-contained story. After the situation is explained, Mickey invites viewers to the Mousekedoer, a giant Mickey-shaped computer that distributes Mouseketools to Toodles, a small flying robot. Viewers call "Oh, Toodles!" to select the needed tool. Instead of the original's Mystery Mouseketool, each episode includes a Mystery Mousekepal who assists when summoned. The show features two songs by They Might Be Giants: the opening theme and "Hot Dog!".

Characters

Mickey Mouse (voiced by Bret Iwan) is the optimistic leader, Donald's best friend, and Minnie's boyfriend. Minnie Mouse (voiced by Kaitlyn Robrock) is Mickey's quick-thinking girlfriend who loves bows. Donald Duck (voiced by Tony Anselmo) is Mickey's short-tempered but good-natured best friend and co-leader. Sparky (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is Donald's stuffed lion. Daisy Duck (voiced by Tress MacNeille) is Donald's girlfriend and Minnie's best friend, talkative but helpful. Sheep (vocal effects by Bill Farmer) is Daisy Bo Peep's sheep. Pluto (vocal effects by Bill Farmer) is Mickey's adventurous pet dog. Toodles, a small flying Mickey-shaped robot, delivers Mouseketools but does not speak in the first season. Little Helper (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is a small robot built by Professor Von Drake. Pete (voiced by Jim Cummings) is a large cat who is a friend or occasional foe. Buster (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is Pete's pet bullfrog. Professor Ludwig Von Drake (voiced by Corey Burton) is a genius inventor who created Toodles and Little Helper. SPOTS (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is Von Drake's pet robot dog. Clarabelle Cow (voiced by April Winchell) is the proprietor of the Moo Mart.
