Fillmore!
A middle school safety patrol solves kid-sized crimes.
Fillmore! is an American animated show created by Scott M. Gimple, airing on ABC and later Toon Disney from 2002 to 2004. It pays tribute to 1970s police dramas, centering on Cornelius Fillmore, a former juvenile delinquent, and his partner Ingrid Third, who serve on the Safety Patrol at X Middle School. This series was the final production from Walt Disney Television Animation for ABC before the studio moved to making shows solely for Disney Channel and its related networks.

Premise
Seventh grader Cornelius Fillmore, a juvenile delinquent with a record, was caught raiding the school's new chalk shipment. The safety patrol officer who caught him gave Fillmore a choice: help solve another case or spend the rest of middle school in detention. Fillmore chose to help and later joined the safety patrol. The show follows him and his partner Ingrid Third at X Middle School, located in the suburbs of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. The format parodies hard-boiled police dramas, with the safety patrol actively involved in student behavior. Fillmore and Ingrid solve kid-friendly versions of common crimes, such as stolen scooters, smuggling tartar sauce, holding illegal frog races, and counterfeiting collector cards.
Characters
Every character in this series takes their name from a San Francisco street. Cornelius C. Fillmore, with Orlando Brown providing his voice, is a seventh grader and the central figure. He used to be a juvenile delinquent, but Wayne Liggit gave him a choice: join the Safety Patrol or spend the rest of middle school in detention. Fillmore now operates well beyond normal Safety Patrol standards and will destroy school property if it means catching his target, which he almost always does. Ingrid Third, voiced by Tara Strong, is Fillmore's goth best friend and partner on the patrol. Before transferring to X Middle School, she was a delinquent sent to a reform school in Nepal after a stinkbomb and piñata incident. She teams up with Fillmore after he clears her name. Horatio Vallejo, voiced by Horatio Sanz, serves as the junior commissioner of the Safety Patrol and Fillmore's direct boss. He frequently butts heads with Fillmore, especially over the property damage, and sometimes has to pull him off a case. Karen Tehama, voiced by Lauren Tom, is the patrol's crime scene investigator with a strong interest in forensics and a good grasp of street gossip. Her partner, Joseph Anza, voiced by Danny Tamberelli, has bodyguarding training and also knows the word on the street. Danny O'Farrell, voiced by Kyle Sullivan, is the crime scene photographer; Vallejo often jokes he is unqualified, and Danny tends to annoy others with his deep thoughts and weird ideas. Principal Dawn S. Folsom, voiced by Wendie Malick, sometimes threatens to turn the Safety Patrol office into something else if they fail, but she quietly helps students and staff. Vice Principal Raycliff, voiced by Jeff Probst, is Folsom's assistant who rarely says much but can recite school facts and metaphors. Mr. Collingwood, voiced by Kyle Gass, is a teacher at the school.
