The Ghost Town

Ghost towns are a recurring kind of setting in the Scooby-Doo franchise. In The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode "Ghastly Ghost Town", the gang helps the Three Stooges with their theme park, a real-life ghost town with real-life ghostly villains. In What's New, Scooby-Doo?, the gang has to spend the night in a ghost town after both vans are wrecked, and something invisible is out to get the band Simple Plan. In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, a mystery waits in the nearby ghost town of Gatorsburg, where the gang is chased by gator people. The video game Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp includes El Muncho, a Southwestern ghost town.
