The Ghost Ship

Ghost ships turn up in several Scooby-Doo mysteries. In Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, the ghost of the pirate Redbeard haunts a harbor and loots the ships of the shipping company owner Mr. Magnus, and Mystery Inc. ends up trapped aboard the eerie ghost ship. The Ghost of Redbeard was the disguise of the shipping magnate C.L. Magnus, who stole his own cargo ship for the insurance when his business was failing. In What's New, Scooby-Doo?, a ship sunk by a ghostly lighthouse keeper returns as a ghost ship, and in The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo the ghostly sea captain Captain Ferguson haunts the Bermuda Triangle on his ghost ship.
